Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to emerge in the mouth.

There are many reasons that wisdom teeth may need to be extracted. For instance, if they are only partially erupted, or are growing in a manner that is crowding the other teeth, extraction is usually the best option. Other reasons to extract wisdom teeth include gum infection, tooth decay, and cyst formation.

Our dentists are able to perform most wisdom teeth extractions in our office with or without sedation.
